Arts and MusicThe Alabama Tourism Department announces 2007 as the Year of Alabama Arts. The campaign is designed to be a year–long celebration of the arts in Alabama that encourages both visitors and Alabamians to spend time experiencing every form of art that Alabama has to offer.

"Alabama has a diverse array of artists ranging from music to pottery to spoken word to painters — and everything in between," said Lee Sentell, director of the Alabama Tourism Department. "We're excited to show the rest of the country what we have to offer."
